When one of our long-time and favourite trade partners calls and says they need our help upgrading their space for a new deck and hot tub, we don't say no. They had three requests: create a walkout door from the basement to the backyard, incorporate a sunken hot tub, and no compromising the view. It took some precision to build and reinforce the deck and add supports under the tub itself, as well as making sure the deck floor was watertight, but we got it done.
